Seasonal Reflection

Lent is the time after Epiphany and before Easter. It is a time that we are remembering the events that lead to the cross. We remember all the things Jesus did for us. It is a journey of sorts when we think of that sacrifice that has given us eternal life through the Grace of God. It is a time when some give something up for Lent. Allowing Him to speak to us, guide us and give us wisdom and strength and if we follow the example of Jesus, there were many times when He would go off by Himself and pray. If it was important for Jesus to do this, then it should be important for us. Here are some verses that show the importance of knowing God through His word and taking that quiet time with Him.
